How to install Equinox Build?
1. From the Kodi Homepage, click on the gear icon.
2. Now you have to select the File Manager from the System menu.
3. Now double-click on the Add source from the File Manager.
4. Now the Add file source dialogue box is displayed on the screen. In that, you have to select the <None>.
5. Here you need to enter the path of the required repository as “http://genietv.co.uk/repo/” and make sure that the path which you have entered is correct and then proceed to OK.
6. Here you have to enter a name which you want for the media source. Now I enter a name as “genie TV” and then proceed to OK.
7. After completing the above process, Navigate to the Kodi Homepage and select the Add-ons.
8. Now you have to select the Package Installer icon which is present at the top-left corner.
9. Now you have to select the Install from zip file.
10. Here you need to select the source which you have already entered in step 6. Now I select the source as “genie TV”.
11. Now you have to select the repository zip file “repository.GenieTV.zip” and wait for few seconds while the repository completes its installation process.
12. Here the popup clearly indicates that the GenieTV Repo is installed successfully.
13. Now you have to select the Install from repository.
14. Here you need to select the GenieTV Repo.
15. Now you have to select the Program add-ons.
16. Now you can select the GENIE WiZ.
17. Now click on the Install and wait for few seconds while the installation process gets completed.
18. Here the popup clearly indicates that the GENIE WIZ is installed successfully.
19. Here you need to click on the Dismiss.
20. Now click on the Continue.
21. Here the popup will be displayed. In that, you have to select the Build Menu.
22. Now you have to select the “[17.1]EQUINOX V1 (v2.6 15/1/18)”.
23. Now click on the Standard Install.
24. Now you have to click on the Continue.
25. Here the popup indicates that the Equinox build starts its download process and then it will be installed automatically.
26. Now you have to select the Force Close.
27. After completing the installation process, you have to restart Kodi and then the new build should come up. Make sure to give time for building the menus and update the addons.
